Cllr. Alison Gardner

Alison is well known in the “Avenue & Newtown Ward”, not only from running the local newsagents with her husband Ian, but also her work as a parent governor at Stratford High School, where her two children attend. Alison also works as a consultant for an international soft beverage company advising on health, nutrition and marketing strategies, which often includes media work in both radio and newspaper.

Alison says, “While change can be a good thing, there are many qualities within our beautiful market town that need to be preserved and protected from inappropriate development. It is similarly important that those projects that directly affect Stratford are only implemented with our support, because of this I am against the proposed foot and cycle bridge.”
