Cllr. Michael Weddell

Stratford District Councillor

Mike Weddell has lived in Studley for 34 years and is married with two sons. He and his wife run their own computer software company, based in Studley. He also runs a small horticultural company specialising in Christmas trees.

Mike was previously for 8 years the County Councillor for Studley and was Vice Chairman of the Public Safety Committee. He retired from the County Council due to work commitments. Mike has also served on Studley Parish Council for 14 years and has been Chairman twice.

A main interest for the past 31 years has been as a member of Warwickshire Special Constabulary where he was in command of the Stratford area for 6 years.

Mike has been a governor of Studley High School for 14 years and is the Chairman of the Staffing and Finance Committee.

Other interests include The Severn Valley Railway where he has been a working volunteer for the last 11 years, gardening, ornithology, tapestry, local history and reading
