Cllr. Maurice Howse:

Maurice served in the RAF and MOD before spending most of his career in financial services including running his own business.

He is now retired and dedicates his time to helping the community. He is vice-chairman of Quinton Parish Council, a member of The Joint Parish Council Working Group opposing the housing development of the Long Marston Camp and a member of the executive board of BARD fighting the Eco-Town proposals. As chairman of the Quinton Parish Youth Club he has played a leading role in getting it restarted and reinvigorated. His main concerns are housing problems, lack of youth facilities, animal welfare and protecting our rural way of life.
