Cllr.John Horner:

John has lived in Claverdon with his wife Lucy and four children for five years

He was born in South Bucks and educated in London, after graduating from Cambridge he worked in the public sector as an engineer in the water industry. Since then John has completed an MBA at Yale University, worked as a management consultant for BP in Brussells before joing Powergen in Solihull. John now divides his time between being a District Councillor, consulting and working on his small holding in Claverdon.

As your District councillor John works hard to ensure that the rural identity of the four villages is retained through planning process and to keep as many local services as possible.

John says, "I will work closely with County Councillor Richard Hobbs to ensure that that the interests of our communities are protected."
