Cllr. Izzi Seccombe:

Izzi and her husband Philip have lived in Tysoe for 28 years, she has been involved in several Community and Charity Groups including The Children's Society, Tysoe Pre School, developing and fundraising for a Tennis Club.

She created a Business in Partnership which ran successfully for 17 years up until her election in 2001 to Warwickshire County Council. In 2002 she successfully stood for the District Council Ettington Ward and has been Ward Member since that time.

Her successful activities have included campaigning against the Eco Town at Long Marston, working to achieve the exclusion of the A429 from the HGV designated route and traffic calming measure in the parishes of Loxley and Alderminster. She negotiated to re-establish the bus service from Halford to Shipston and is promoting the Health and Wellbeing Centre for Shipston which will support Communities in the Ward.
