Lynda Organ and Gavin Griffiths selected for local by elections

Following the sad death of Councillor Keith Lloyd there will be a by election on 29th November. The local Conservatives have chosen Lynda Organ to fight for the County Council seat and Gavin Griffiths for the Town Council seat. Leaflets for both candidates are attached.

£9 billion broadband boost for local business

Nadhim Zahawi has welcomed research showing that superfast broadband has boosted the turnover of local businesses across the UK by £9 billion. This boost to the UK economy has created 49,000 local jobs, showing the clear benefits that superfast broadband provides.

Update on the Greig Centre

Conservative run Stratford on Avon District Council have served notice on the Trustees of the Greig Centre for non payment of outstanding sums of money. An agreement dating back to 2005 saw the Council provide funding to the centre and enable many facilities at the Greig.

Another year, another successful AGM

Stratford on Avon Conservative Association held another successful annual general meeting on Friday 16th March at Alveston Church of England Primary School. 

Double evening of successful events in Alcester and Brailes

Being involved in the Conservatives is certainly NOT all heavy politics. On Friday night two very successful social events took place with nearly 120 people attending across two events, one in Alcester and the other in Brailes.
